1. Introduction

 Salubeg Tours and Travel Limited is committed to providing exceptional travel experiences while ensuring transparency and accountability in all our services. These Terms and Conditions outline the rights and responsibilities of both Salubeg Tours and its clients. By booking with us, you agree to abide by these Terms. 

2. Booking and Payment

 2.1 Booking Confirmation 

  • Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit or full payment, as detailed in the booking invoice.
  • Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking packages require full payment of permit fees in addition to the deposit.
  • All bookings are subject to availability.

 2.2 Payment Terms 

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking.
  • Full payment is due 30 days before departure.
  • Payments must be made via bank transfer in USD, GBP, or Euro.

3. Pricing

 Prices are subject to change due to factors like currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or taxes. Confirmed bookings will not be affected unless changes arise from unforeseeable events, which will be communicated promptly. 

4. Cancellations and Refunds

 4.1 Cancellation by Client 

  • More than 60 days before departure: Refund minus deposit.
  • 30–60 days: 50% refund.
  • 14–30 days: 30% refund.
  • Less than 14 days: No refund.
  • Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are non-refundable.

 4.2 Cancellation by Salubeg Tours 

  • We may cancel due to low bookings or unforeseen events.
  • Clients will receive a full refund or alternative tour offer.
  • We are not liable for third-party costs (e.g., flights, visas).

5. Travel Documentation and Health

 5.1 Passports and Visas Clients are responsible for obtaining valid passports and visas. Salubeg Tours bears no responsibility for related issues. 5.2 Health and Vaccinations Clients should consult a healthcare provider at least 8 weeks before travel to ensure compliance with vaccination and health requirements. 

6. Liability and Risk

 6.1 Limitation of Liability We are not liable for issues caused by third-party suppliers, natural disasters, political instability or non-compliance with laws. 6.2 Assumption of Risk Clients acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks and accept responsibility for their participation. 

7. Itinerary Changes

 Salubeg Tours may adjust itineraries or services due to operational reasons. Comparable alternatives will be offered and communicated. 

8. Client Conduct

 Clients must act respectfully and follow local laws. We reserve the right to remove any client for disruptive or unsafe behaviour without refund. 

9. Complaints

 Complaints should be reported during the tour or submitted in writing to info@salubegtours.com within 14 days post-tour. A response will be provided within 28 days. 

10. Governing Law

 These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in Ugandan courts.
